PATTY TAPIA

From a young age, Patty showed an interest in the arts through painting and dancing. She studied ballet and tap until the age of 11 in the United States. When her family moved to the Dominican Republic, she began to take traditional Dominican dance classes as well as hip hop and cardio-centric dance. She was her high school’s go-to choreographer for major school events, including various quinceñeras. After moving back to the States to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Patty realized her true passions by attending every dance class available to her such as Bollywood, belly dance, Zumba, and more. Movement has always been a major part of her life as forms of self-expression and self-healing. After obtaining certifications in yoga instructing and holistic health coaching, she moved to Los Angeles from New York City to further pursue her career. Between leading yoga classes and managing clients, she also teaches cardio dance and sculpting classes all over the LA and South Bay area. She believes in getting to know one’s true self through mind and body connection.
