Matthew Mannix started his formal dance training at the Long Island High School for the Arts. He went on to continue his classical training at The Ailey School, where he studied Ballet, Horton, Graham-based modern, Jazz, and African, and graduated from the Professional Division Certificate Program. After graduating he went on to work with choreographers including Jeremy McQueen, Matthew Rushing, Robert Battle, and Amy E. Hall. In 2014, Matthew moved to Los Angeles, where he got more involved in the world of dance fitness. Matthew truly believes that dance is one of the best ways to get fit, have fun, and feel amazing! Matthew is extremely excited to start teaching PlyoJam, and share his passion for dance and fitness.
